In order to uphold customer satisfaction as well as quality sales- and support services, Optron places a high priority on maintaining a recognised quality management system – regulating effective and efficient policies / processes, subject to continuous improvement.
Bureau Veritas Certification Agency has been contracted as third party auditors to verify our compliance with ISO 9001-2008 Standards. During the last two annual assessments no non-conformance-reports were raised and it was concluded that “the management system of Optron has been assessed and found to be in accordance with the requirements of standard: ISO 9001:2008.”

Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment
Optron Geomatics (Pty) Ltd fully associates itself with the strategic importance of the effective transformation of Measured Entities, as regulated by the Codes of Good Practice for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, BEE ACT 53 of 2003.
However, being a Trimble Navigation Ltd owned company (residing in the USA - shareholding / equity / directorship) restricts our ability to be appropriately certified, particularly in the “Ownership” and to a lesser extent, “Management” elements.
We nevertheless strive to pursue the objectives of the Codes at all times, achieving full marks for Enterprise Development and Socio-Economic Development during the previous certification period. We furthermore give precedence to B-BBEE candidates during new staff appointments, within the boundaries of sustaining quality service and support to our clients.
